Katia is a fully certified Lush Tums Pregnancy yoga teacher who lives in Brighton with her partner and two sons. She is also a Kundalini yoga instructor and massage therapist. Katia is passionate about teaching Pregnancy yoga as it is so beneficial for both mother and baby to prepare for the most positive birth experience possible. A typical class comprises of specialist postures, breath awareness, mindfulness, meditation, soundwork (mantras), positive affirmations and deep relaxations (yoga nidra) aimed to release any preconceived fears or anxieties about birth.
The classes give students the opportunity to voice their symptoms and benefit from a tailor made class integrating exercises to suit their needs. The classes are very soothing, calming and restorative, encouraging mother to connect deeply with baby in the womb.
